The Charity Bazaar @ CHOW is back!

The 3rd Charity Bazaar @ CHOW promises even more fun this year, as we join hands to raise funds for the Palestinian Children, many of whom are orphans living in the refugee camps throughout Lebanon. It is our hope that we will be able to send the children and their families funds in time for Ramadhan as they are in dire need of help. Please join us for a fun day out with friends and family in support of these darling children:)

There will be an interesting array of goods on sale - food, gift items, women's and children's clothes, branded 'pre-loved' items, spa and lots of fun activities & games for the kids!!!

Admission tickets are on sale for RM20 which includes 2 meal vouchers, 2 drink vouchers and many chances to win prizes. Those under 18 years of age enter for free. There will be tons of fabulous raffle prizes to be won so bring as many people & buy as many tickets as you can!!

So come on out to support this great cause. Hope to see you all there!!

The Budimas Charitable Foundation will be holding a 2-day Christmas Charity Bazaar this week.

A total of 40 vendors will be offering visitors lots of bargains for items such as clothes, shoes, cosmetic items, bags, wallets, children’s clothes, toys, home decoration items, costume jewelery, cakes, cookies and lots more. This will also be a great time to pick up all those last-minute Christmas gifts before the holidays!

Proceeds from the bazaar will be used to fund and support Budimas' activities as the foundation is supporting more than 500 orphaned and underprivileged children in 11 homes throughout the country.

These homes include Asrama Damai Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim in Kuang, Bethesda Children’s Mission Home in Cheras, Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) Child Care Centre, Persatuan Kebajikan Darul Najjah KL & Selangor, Precious Gift Home & Hannah Home in Ipoh, Children’s Protection Society & Persekutuan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Islam (Perempuan) in Penang, St. Theresa & De La Salle Hostels in Kota Marudu, Sabah and Seri Mengasih Centre in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Budimas has also set-up their own charitable home, known as the Pusat Jagaan Kebajikan Budimas Orion in Petaling Jaya.

Monash Music Festival (MMF) organized by Monash University Students’ Association is designed to develop the undiscovered talents in Monash University Sunway Campus (MUSC). Two main aims of MMF are, to provide an engaging platform to showcase MUSC talent to the local music scene and also to expose MUSC community to Malaysia’s local acts. The Chic Bootique will be participating from 12 noon - 12 midnight on Sunday, 26th April '09.

Activities during the event

Battle of the Talent - We will have bands and performers battle it out on our stage. Votings will be done by SMS and contestants will also face our professional jury. Grand Prize RM 1,000!

Live performances - We will have bands performing all over SOHO KL, (we will have 3 different stages at this event and at different locations around SOHO KL)

Runway show - Vendors will be parading their clothes.

Business talk - We will have panels that will be talking about their business experience especially during the economy crisis.

Traders Incubation - Traders who wish to expand their business, we will have a session and a booth to give you advice alongside financial assistance.

Health Screening - We will have Medical Bodies coming to do health screening and offer health counseling.
